Message from Hon President Fred Yamoah

  • Was very positive and encouraging re: the work of the group in raising awareness of Fairtrade and establishing links such as those with Costa Rica and Kelkheim

Bucks New Uni

  • Client video brief has been prepared for the promotional video for our group which will be pitched to this year’s Film, TV and Media 2nd year students
  • Discussion re: the main focus of the video and which age group we should be aiming it at

Treasurer’s report

  • It was felt that the money spent on taking part in the Christmas Tree festival at All Saints church was very worthwhile. It was a good opportunity to raise awareness of our group and Fairtrade products

Social media

  • Posts have been added to our website re: our Christmas Tree at All Saints and our links with Kelkheim

Grecia/Coope Victoria partnership

  • Meeting took place with the Costa Rican Ambassador at the Embassy on 5th December
  • The proposed Zoom meeting between the Mayors of Grecia and Wycombe is due to be arranged

Kelkheim link

  • The proposed partnership between the Fairtrade Towns of Wycombe and Kelkheim has been agreed by the Kelkheim Fairtrade group and has been recommended to Kelkheim Council
  • A group from Kelkheim will be visiting Wycombe in May this year and we hope to arrange a meeting with them

AOB

  • Transform Trade are holding a Big Brew event from 23rd Feb to 8th March
  • The next Pann Mill Open Day is on 10th May
